Harvey Weinstein is not a new name for anyone who are intensely following the entertainment arena. The once-powerful and well-known movie moghul has now been disgraced. The one who was the major reason for the “me too movement”, his trial continued on Friday. This was after the “The Sopranos” actress Annabella Sciorra recounted how he barged into her apartment and raped her 25 years ago.

The actress explained in vivid detail ho he pinned her to bed before outraging her modesty. She testified that Weinstein barged into her apartment in Manhattan in 1993-94 and chased her around before sexually assaulting her.

She is one of the six women who are set to testify against Weinstein. The state prosecutors are opening the case this week. They are aiming at establishing a pattern of sexual crimes by Harvey to support the charges of sexual predation against him.

The movie tycoon had been raping and sexually exploiting the young women and actresses over a few decades. Sciorra was the first woman who publicly spoke against Harvey Weinstein when she spoke about the incident and levelled charges against him when speaking with the New Yorker in October 2017.

She explained every detail of how the crime was executed. She even testified that he pulled out to ejaculate on her nightgown and duvet. He even went ahead then to perform oral sex on her.

She even testified that he tried repeating it several times again. Even when she confronted him about it, his reaction was quite menacing and unrepenting, she stated. She even claimed that she was shocked and traumatised. She even began drinking and cutting herself – the prosecutor told the court.

As part of the further procedure, experts may have to find why Annabella Sciorra remained silent for so many years.
