Remember an old child actor who starred in the movie “The Mighty Ducks”? The 40 year old Shaun Weiss was arrested on charges of burglary over the last weekend. This is – incidentally his third arrest on various counts and charges.
The Marysville Police Department arrested him. He was charged with the residential burglary. He was also charged on the count of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Police claimed that the former actor broke into a woman’s garage. He then shattered her car.
When the police arrived after the home owner called them, he was found inside the car. He was taken to the Yuba County Jail after his arrest. He was found to be under the influence of methamphetamine. He is being held on a $ 52500 bail.
It should be noticed that this was the third arrest that he has courted arrest. He was arrested in a case of public intoxication in August 2018 and then again in December 2018 for shoplifting.
It is not a secret that Weiss has been going through a downfall since long. He was served 12 days in jail for a petty theft in 2017. In the same year, he was arrested once again for possessing methamphetamine.
He had even posted recently that he wanted “ “to break free from the self destructive patterns of behavior and drug abuse that have landed me at rock bottom,”, but the actual chain of incidents in his life clearly indicate that the struggle still continues and there seems to be a point of no return in his life.
