The 9 biggest announcements from Bethesda’s E3 2019 keynote

Bethesda Softworks has been one of the regulars at the E3 keynote. It made a few new improvements and huge announcements at this years’ E3 keynote address. Bethesda has been a well-known developer of games and is the home for titles like Fallout, Doom, Wolfenstein, and the Elder Scrolls.

We thought it would be practical to share a few important aspects of the announcements that Bethesda made at the Bethesda’s E3 2019.

1 Acknowledgment of the Failures

Bethesda did not shy away from its mistakes. The Fallout 76 has been a huge failure and was not considered a good option by RPG fans worldwide. This sort of an acknowledgement should be a clear indication to prove that Bethesda is not trying to bury its mistakes.

2 The Improved Fallout 76

Fallout 76 will now have a battle royale introduction within the game. The new addition will be made available across this summer and will be offered through a free preview of around a week on all the platforms. The game will now have human NCPs as indicated by the project manager Jeff Gardiner. Bethesda also showcased a trailer for the introduction. Next on, there will be Wastelanders expansion that is expected to hit by the coming fall.

3 The new Orion Technology

Bethesda also unveiled a new technology labelled Orion at the E3. This is aimed at improving the performance of cloud game streaming. The technology is designed to work with any game engine. It was even shown off through a demo on stage The 2016 edition Doom was streamed over a mobile device. The company is launching the beta later in 2019.

4 Doom Eternal and upcoming release date

Doom has been a successful game in 2016 and still remains so. The game is receiving an update this year. Labelled Doom Eternal the game will carry forward the demonic enhancement over to the sequel. The event showcased a trailer of the game upgrade. The trailer comes with complete details on locations and characters. The game also has a release date on November 22.

5 An improved look to WOLFENSTEIN: YOUNGBLOOD

WOLFENSTEIN: YOUNGBLOODis yet another popular game introduced by Bethesda in 2018. The game has that unique 1980s look and appearance. However, this year, the game is going to have an update that improves its look further. The trailer clearly showed what you could expect from the new game.

The update will be launching on July 26 and will be featured on all major platforms that include Xbox One, PS4, PC, and the Nintendo Switch.

6 Elder Scrolls comes to Nintendo

The popular game from Bethesda, Elder Scrolls is being brought on the Nintendo hybrid tablet. The new version will be called Elder Scrolls: Blades. The game has already launched in an open beta on a mobile platform. The game will be made available on the Switch this year, and the launch is expected to happen this fall. The new iteration of the game will feature cross play and cross progression functionalities.

7 Shinji Mikami Comes back with a New Game

If you have been in love with horror games and movies, Shinji Mikami is perhaps your role model. Known well enough with his Resident Evil title, he will be back with a new horror game this year. The new game is titled Ghostwire: Tokyo. The game is truly scary enough if the trailers are to be believed. The game will be based on an action oriented genre.

8 Rage 2 is making a come back

The post apocalypse shooter game Rage 2  has been widely acclaimed and has been quite successful. This year, the game is getting a huge update and will be receiving a perfect update in the form of a new update. The expansion will be titled to as Rise of the Ghosts. There will be additions in the form of weapons, vehicles and characters. The game will also feature new quests. The impressive addition will include a new gameplay element in the form of mesh suits. We do not have information on the exact date of release as yet.

9 Arkane comes with a new game

Bethesda brings a new game from Arkane Studios. The new game will be titled Deathloop. The new game will be about two assassins engaged in a struggle. As Bethesda put it, “ stunning environments, carefully designed levels and an immersive gameplay are what would make it one of the excellent options to go with.” Wait for the exact date of release though.
